Review Beastly (Phoebe Reede: The Untold Story, #3)Beastly by Michelle Irwin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Updated review:
This Series NEEDS to be read in order. This is the series that continues from Michelle Irwin first #RacingThemedseries of books, Declan Reede: The Untold Story, Phoebe is Declan’s eldest daughter, and in Phase Phoebe sets off to America for a well needed holiday, where she meets Beau. her holiday romance turns into more, but a long distance relationship can be hard and in Phobic The struggles of this are forefront in the story, and wow – warning that book left me with such a book hangover, both books were on my Topreads2016 and this and I guess if Ms. Irwin finishes this series this year I predict the books will be on my top-2017-read shelf
This book is told in Beau’s POV, and there were times when I did want to bat him across the head and tell him to get a grip, there were other times when I wanted to hug him and tell him it will be ok ( unfortunately the master of his destiny is going to make him work for it – Ms. Irwin likes to make her characters work hard for their happy ever after! )
I feel for him and Phoebe, they have gone through so much but I have faith that it will be worth it in the end – or else Ms Irwin may get a rant from me.
I will warn readers that this series covers some trigger subjects – nothing graphic, but I really felt Beau and Declan when they were searching for Phoebe.
OK there you go, my thoughts on the book after a bit of sleep and time to contemplate my feelings…
This is my bleary-eyed comment after sitting in the dark on the floor in my lounge, my kindle plugged into the socket because I ran out of battery at 98%!

Omg!!! I need to sleep… but goddam Michelle Irwin you know how to twist the reader’s emotions. My hearts breaking and I now desperately want the next story! #tissues and an uninterrupted read will be required when you start this book, you will be glued to the pages. Its 2:30 am and I am going to go try to sleep now. But I know that I’ll be thinking about the ending till dawn

And btw it took me ages to get to sleep! What will Phoebe do in #Physis – Book 4 in the series out in April (was going to be August but YAY not long to go now) 2017 (PS if you wonder about the title for book 4 here is the definition)
*** I voluntarily reviewed this book, I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book, these are my honest ramblings and I hope you enjoy reading them – kat***

Author Bio

Michelle Irwin has been many things in her life: a hobbit taking a precious item to a fiery mountain; a young child stepping through the back of a wardrobe into another land; the last human stranded not-quite-alone in space three million years in the future; a young girl willing to fight for the love of a vampire; and a time-travelling madman in a box. She achieved all of these feats and many more through her voracious reading habit. Eventually, so much reading had to have an effect and the cast of characters inside her mind took over and spilled out onto the page.

Michelle lives in sunny Queensland in the land down under with her surprisingly patient husband and ever-intriguing daughter, carving out precious moments of writing and reading time around her accounts-based day job. A lover of love and overcoming the odds, she primarily writes paranormal and fantasy romance.
